Thank you all for making Earthly Goods Christmas Craft Fair, the first show of the season, a success!  I had a blast meeting you all on Saturday and Sunday and hope that you can drop by some of the future shows!  Also, a big thank you to those who covered my booth for me on Friday while I was detained with a family matter.
Also, as I likely mentioned, I haven't had a chance to upload pictures of some of my new items for sale yet, but I've added some here.  Please contact me if you saw anything you liked but didn't purchase, or something that you wanted personalized (ie. ''Tis the season to shop!  ]]><![CDATA[Cupcakes + Cookie Dough = Divine]]>Sun, 23 Oct 2011 11:33:15 -0800http://www.lilicreations.ca/2/post/2011/10/cupcakes-cookie-dough-divine.htmlSo, my boyfriend came home talking about these cupcakes he had heard about that had cookie dough in the center of them.  I was feeling a bit lazy so instead of making the cake and cookie dough from scratch I (guiltily) went to the store and bought a white cake mix and premade Pillsbury cookie dough. 
Here's what you do:
  1.  Make your cookie dough.
  2. Roll your cookie dough into small balls and put them in the freezer.
  3. Once your cookie dough balls are frozen solid (about 2 hours), preheat your oven to 350.
  4. Make your cake mix.
  5. Line your cupcake pans with liners.
  6. Fill your cupcake liners about 2/3's full.
  7. Once you have filled your cupcake liners, put a cookie dough ball into each liner.
  8. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until your toothpick comes out of the cupcake (not the cookie dough!) clean.
There are a couple of things that you can do to alter this recipe.  For example, I added peanut butter into about 1/2 of my cupcakes so that they were Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes.  I also added some vanilla icing topped with chocolate chips and (on the peanut butter ones) a little dollop of peanut butter.  These cupcakes are a bit "intense" so I also left some un-iced and people loved them!
